YOGA TEACHER FIRST AID TRAINING
FOR ALL STUDIO TEACHERS AND STUDENTS
Goodspace Emergency First Aid at Work training runs quarterly throughout the year at Hotpod Yoga Teaching Academy, London Fields.

This one day course will not only provide you with the up-to-date knowledge and the essential practical skills of First Aid, it will also empower you to deliver this in any real-life situation. I understand the specific risks within a studio and 1-1 settings and will cover both the mandatory topics required for this qualification plus explore common injuries seen within the yoga settings, this includes head injuries and dislocations.
On completion, you will receive a comprehensive first aid manual, portable first aid pack and a certificate confirming your qualification for 3 years.
What you will learn?
The content of the course provides lifesaving First Aid, including automated defibrillator training (AED) and workplace health and safety regulations, covering the following:
The role of the first aider
Health and safety regulations
Managing an emergency
Resuscitation (adult CPR) and children
Communication and casualty care
Head Injuries and Seizures
Bleeding (minor and severe)
Shock
Burns
Unresponsive casualty
Choking
Pregnancy
Emergency First Aid At Work (In accordance with The Health and Safety (first Aid) Regulations 1981, designed specifically for those working in studio based environments (example: yoga teachers, pilates Instructors, fitness instructors etc).
Continuous assessment throughout day and multiple choice test
Valid for 3 years on completion
